Interactive Mock-Up for a Financial, Investment, and General Use App

Novapay is a financial company who in 2019, were seeking investors to develop a general use app that functioned as an online market place, mobile wallet, and financial platform. Similar companies include WeChat and Venmo. This project took the original specifications that I was contracted for and was updated for 2024.

Goal
In 2019, a mobile wallet that functioned as a gateway to investments as well as general online banking with integrated social features existed in various forms throughout Asia, but had not become ubiquitous in North America. Novapay hoped to fill that place in the market and create the initial infrastructure for the app

Process
We began with settling on the general brand identity - abstract, recognizable, and legible as both logomark and logotype were used for more variability in branding applications. The word “nova” informed our visual design language, and initial wireframes given were restructured and finalized. An interactive mockup was created in Adobe XD, and eventually converted to Figma and video/image files for presentation.
